Girls, we had such an amazing summer! Since all of our birthdays are back to back, we got to celebrate all of them amidst the summer sun. Summer might just be my favorite time of year. We celebrated Daddy at the Newport Coast Marriott and Elise's real birthday at our new home in Laguna. We visited all of the local beaches and spent many days at the the Deck enjoying the crystal blue water and the hotel pool. The Renaissance ended up being a nice retreat as well and we loved ordering food and drinks poolside! The highlight of the summer had to be renting the beach house with the Fleskoski clan. You were all crazy and, unfortunately, napping/sleeping were not on anyone's agenda. That being said, we made so many incredible memories and I know that they will last a lifetime. I still remember splashing in Newport waves with my siblings and cousins and this year all of you got to do the same. Our favorite time of day was when all of the crowds started to leave and the sunset sky was painted in pinkish-orange hues. The sand was still warm between our toes and we could watch the silhouettes of the surfers catching the last few waves of the day. Even though you were all freshly bathed, you often couldn't resist the urge to run back outside and jump in the sand, limbs flailing. Warm summer nights are our happy place :) Elise, you thought the blow up pool was the best thing in the world and made it your mission to jump in regardless of what you were wearing. You have no fear of the water and would crawl towards the water's edge with more persistence and motivation than I've ever seen. Ella, you loved bonding with your Kiki and our endless dance parties. Sleeping with Jojo was pretty fun too, even though you woke each other up constantly :) This summer will be hard to match but I always love a good challenge! You girls make me want to be the best version of myself and, because of you, my life and my heart are full beyond measure. Love you both to the ends of the earth.
