32 Weeks

I just can't fathom that we are 8 months pregnant already! I feel like this pregnancy has gone by so fast, it's so funny how different each pregnancy can be. I feel so lucky to have had no heartburn or acid reflux this time around, but baby girl is sitting much lower than her sister was and I pulled a ligament in my groin making it difficult to walk at times. Other than that, I'm actually really enjoying this time and trying to get in extra quality time with Ellabells. At my 30 week appointment, my stomach was measuring 32 weeks so they scheduled me for an ultrasound to check the size of the baby. Just had my ultrasound yesterday (at 32 weeks) and baby is just over 4lbs and measuring totally average in the 53rd percentile (my stomach actually decreased in size and was only measuring in at 31 weeks). I think it might be because I was trying so hard to fit in my bridesmaid dress, lol! Everything else looked great and baby is measuring 2 weeks ahead in length. The ultrasound tech also said that Elise has a lot of hair for 32 weeks! I'll believe it when I see it because Ella came out with hardly any and the little hair she did have was black as night :) I've always wondered if our kids would look alike or totally different. Based on the ultrasound picture, they look very similar. We will just have to wait and see in real life, only 8 weeks to go :) Every random stranger tells me I'm having a boy (now we've started to count how many since it happens so often). I guess the old wives tale about the way you carry determining the sex of the child isn't true in my case, lol!

Easter was so much fun spending lots of family time together. We visited my sister's church in the morning and really enjoyed the beautiful service. They had a petting zoo and Ella was in absolute Heaven :) We went on to host a brunch at our house with my Mom, David, Sally, and siblings and set up an Easter egg hunt for the kiddos. It's so much fun to watch Ella and Jojo interact and play together. They have a love/hate relationship and we always all end up laughing when they fight or get mad at one another. Got to love this age :) Shortly after, we headed to my Aunt's house to visit with my Dad's side of the family and enjoyed another fun egg hunt with everyone. We are so lucky to have such a large, extended family that all live close by. As I get older, I find myself appreciating that more and more.

Mother's Day was a blast as well (totally teared up when I received these cards from Ella that her daycare had made)! We always love spending sunny days at the Fleskoski house and nothing beats Joe's cooking :) We got so see our nephew get dedicated in the morning and enjoyed an amazing dinner with my mother-in-law that night! We are lucky to say the least :)

These past couple months have been such a blast celebrating Deni at her bachelorette party in Vegas (woohoo!) and getting to stand by her side at her wedding as Matron of Honor. Everything turned out beyond perfect and she was the most stunning bride I've ever seen. Other than the fact I had to have my dress altered the night before the wedding (I am getting bigger by the day, and apparently even the hour), we finally got it to zip after two different alterations and had SO much fun! The rehearsal dinner was perfection with so much attention to every detail. The day of the wedding came and we rushed all morning to get the place cards written out (which we did just in time)! Ella actually went down the aisle (she had a major crush on the ring bearer so that helped) and Deni was smart to have the Best Man and I walk down right after them so I was right behind her to encourage her to keep going when she got scared. I'm just dying to see all of the ceremony pics. Ella looked so beautiful and whimsical with her flower crown and princess dress. The reception was perfect and our room was right above it so Ella could go down early :) Just an absolute perfect weekend!

Since Grammy and Poppo live in Ventura as well, we were even able to squeeze in an early lunch with them at Mimi's Cafe. Sometimes it's so hard to find the time to get up there to visit them, but I know how absolutely priceless the time is that Ella gets to spend with her great-grandparents. I was thrilled to get some amazing pics that I know will mean so much :)

I don't know what it is about spring and summer but it feels like we have endless parties every weekend (and I wouldn't it change it for anything)! Our friends know how to have a great time and Ella has gotten to experience more extraordinary birthday parties in her short (almost) three years than I ever went to as a kid. It's so funny because if there is a day that we don't go anywhere, Ella always seems really confused as to why we are still at home. The weather has been so beautiful lately (and ridiculously hot at times), but we have been able to get in some amazing beach days and even a relaxing day by the pool at the Balboa Bay Club thanks to the Bartolos. We've had so many fun outings to Irvine Park, the circus, Disneyland, Disney on Ice
Zoomars, etc. We are so lucky to live where we do and have so many fun places to take our kids :)
