My loves, we have been so busy and having so much fun! We've had endless adventures enjoying Zoomars, the Ice Palace, Disneyland, the strawberry fields, the Deck and other various beaches.
Ella, you are so unbelievably excited to welcome your baby brother in 5 1/2 short weeks! You smile ear to ear when you feel him kick and you love putting your hands on my tummy :) You are truly the best big sister and so gentle, kind, compassionate, and patient with Elise. You two have the most special bond and I truly hope that it last forever. Our house and side-yard are covered in baby dolls, strollers, pink skateboards, tricycles, tents, and your Escalade. You girls can play for hours pretending to be mommies and giggling all day long. You do fight over the ipad and food but I guess that's to be expected. You've been so helpful as my stomach has gotten HUGE and you will always assist me in cleaning and picking up things off of the floor :) You love practicing your Shirley Temple dance for your recital and adore going to gymnastics every week since Ella & Halle Black go too. We meet Story for yoga on Mondays and you still have swim lessons weekly at Waterworks. Playing with Daddy and Elise after swim practice is the highlight of every weekend :)
Elise, you are an absolute firecracker, and I love every inch of you. You run this house and your personality is really starting to shine through. You follow your sister everywhere and want to do whatever she is doing at all times. My favorite thing you do together is run in circles in the grassy area of the side-yard. You only swing one arm when you run and I hope I never forget how stinking cute you look when doing it. You are a parrot and will repeat everything that Ella asks you too. Taking baths is probably your favorite activity of the day and you perpetually try to climb in even when there is no water. You always want someone to follow you into another room and you will reach out your hand to any adult and open and close it a hundred times to signal that you want them to come with you. When you wake up in the mornings, you have most recently starting screaming for Ella (which sounds more like "Ellwaa") in addition to Mama and Dada. I'm not sure that you fully understand that there is a baby in my tummy, but you will always point to my stomach and laugh and try rub it when sissy does.
Our family is about to grow and change yet again but these past few months have been absolutely priceless. We have SO much to look forward to! Luke/Daddy has been working his butt off in anticipation of launching his new company (looks like July 1st will be the new launch date if all goes well with the website testing) while simultaneously managing the law firm and all that goes along with that. He really is our hero! For over 8 months now, he will often get up at 3am on the weekends so he can go into the office and get a few hours in before you girls wake up. You don't even realize he was gone and have quality time all day with him :) Don't know how we got so lucky! Levi, we have your room ready to go (even though Elise still sleeps in there) and I just love how it turned out. Naturally, Daddy already had a custom board made for you so that the day you show any interest you will be ready to go.
