Today is Ella's 8 month birthday! Time is moving way too fast. Munchkin is full of giggles, smiles, and loves to hear herself talk. She is such an unbelievably happy baby. I love taking her places because she makes friends wherever we go. My favorite thing in the world is when I'm holding her face-to-face and she grabs my hair on both sides and leans in for a sloppy, wet kiss. For some reason she loves to do this whenever she is in some kind of shopping cart or stroller. I hope it lasts forever :)

A typical day consists of two naps (during the past two months we slowly lost that afternoon nap which I'm really missing). We have our 1 hour morning nap at 9am and then an afternoon nap at about 12:30pm that lasts anywhere from 1-2 hours. She is out for the long haul by 6:15pm. She still loves bath time more than anything, but it's been getting increasingly difficult because she rocks back and forth with incredible strength. I definitely need to invest in some kind of bath ring.

Meals are the best with Ella grabbing at the jars and attempting to steal the spoon away. Everyone loves to feed her because she's so damn entertaining to watch.

Ella has fun surrounding herself with toys under her jungle play mat and attempting to grab the ones that she has tossed out of her own reach. She leans forward and has about a 50/50 chance of face-planting on the rug. It's the cutest thing ever. Crawling is the next milestone on the horizon and Nana is enjoying every minute that she immobile :)
